Re: LR 5.5 double-click behavior on WB sliders (and other sliders in Basic tab)

thanks for replying, but i guess i didn't explain the problem well.  i know where to click, and ultimately the slider is moving to the "as-shot" or auto recommendation, depending on whether i also pressed the shift key.

the problem is that LR no longer waits long enough to receive the second click of the double-click.  obviously a double-click involves clicking....twice.  click, click.  in order for it to work, the program (LR, in this case) has to wait long enough to receive the second click.  and it used to work with no problem, up through LR 5.4.  but after updating to 5.5 a few days ago (june 18), LR now responds immediately to the first click of the double-click.  so it moves the slider slightly.  but then it still registers the second half of the double-click, and produces the desired result (showing the as-shot or auto value).

so what's the problem??

the problem is that when you click undo and redo to toggle back and forth between whatever value you had originally (custom, as-shot, or auto), and then newly selected value (as-shot or auto, depending on whether you held the shift key)—you can't.  because your original value is now two steps back instead of 1 step back.  (because the slider moved slightly on the first part of the double-click.)

to refer again to the example i mentioned above:

the Temp slider is set to a custom value of 5200 on a certain photo.

i'm curious what is the auto recommendation, so i Shift + double-click on the slider.

the slider registers the first part of my double-click, moving for an instant to 5384, before understanding that i actually double-clicked and producing the auto setting.

then, when i try to toggle back and forth between my original value (5200) and the auto value—i can't.  instead, it toggles between 5384 and the auto value. (5384 is just a random number, the value that was selected on this particular click.  the point is that the first half of the double-click is registered, and moves the slider very briefly and slightly to one side or the other.)

as you may suspect, this behavior occurs with other sliders, as well, not just WB.  it becomes a problem when you want to double-click on a slider to get either an auto value or the default value, and then toggle undo back and forth to compare.
