I'm encoding SD avi files for DVD.
Whether I use "export" from Premier, or to the queue for AME, my PC simply reboots. No error. no warning... nothing. However; I CAN export to avi, no problem.
The source content is VHS tape transfer using Premier CC which capture in avi. Sequence setting is the preset for DV-NTSC.
The PC is brand new, purpose-built, Intel i7, 16GB of ram, 512BG Intel SSD, Win7(SP2).
There is no other software installed. I suspected a faulty mainboard (I got it thru AMAZON - and it had clearly be re-packaged), so I had it replaced with factory sealed mainboard of the same type and model
(Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H), But the exact same problem occurred.
I ran a full suite of Memtest tests (10 repetitions) with no errors from the CPU or RAM.
I completely reformatted the SSD and re-installed Win7 and Premiere Pro.
Adobe provides NO chat support or phone support for AME or Premiere ...THANKS A LOT ADOBE.
I have to edit the sequences and do some assembling,
I'd appreciate any ideas on this problem, or in the alternative, a way to encode without AME.
