I've played with the sequence settings and I noticed if I change them from HDV1080p to HDV1080i and export it, the motion is a lot smoother. Although this is at the expense of quality, the images are not as clear. It would be great if I could keep both.

Its the name that is the box left of the (1 of 100) and to the right of the the page up and down buttons. I need that name to be the name of the bookmark and ultimately the name of the document after I split it.

How is the checksum generated in the form root for xfa forms?
Hi all,
Crossposting this from Acrobat forum per another user's suggestion...
Does anyone know how the checksum is generated at the form root for XFA forms? It's allegedly in the XFA spec but I can't find what goes into the sha-1 hash So if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated...

Moving Play Head to clip edges with keyboard shortcut?
PageUp/PageDown shortcuts in the Timeline panel no longer work.
In earlier versions of Premiere Pro, I used the PageUp/Down buttons to move the play head in the Timeline panel. It would jump to each clip beginning or end. That shortcut doesn't work in the current Premiere Pro CC 2018. I Checked the Shortcuts dialog, but I could not find a "move play head to clip edge" command to assign to the PageUp/Down buttons.
I know that I can Shift-drag the play head to make it do what I want. But I want a keyboard-only method, not to have to use the mouse and the keyboard together to jump to clips edges in the timeline.
Has anyone restored this shortcut, can tell me how to do it? Or another method to do the same thing?

Verdeckte Textelemente aus PDF-Dokumenten auslesen
Hallo zusammen,
ich habe folgendes Problem in Acrobat Pro:
Mir liegen Tabellen mit Daten als PDF-Dokumente vor. Nun überschreiten einige Textelemente die Länge der "Tabellenzellen", die diese beinhalten. Der Text über den Zellenbereich hinaus ist also beim reinen Betrachten der PDF nicht sichtbar. Markiert man allerdings den Text in den Zellen und fährt mit der Maus über die Zellenbegrenzung hinaus, so wird deutlich dass im Hintergrund Textdateien hinterlegt sind. Dieser kann auch mit Strg+C kopiert werden. Unter "Inhalte" kann ich mir ebenfalls einen Elementebaum anzeigen lassen, welcher jegliche Textelemente verzeichnet, welche im Dokument enthalten sind. Dort wird auch das gesamte Textelement, also auch der "unsichtbare" Text angezeigt.
Nun meine Frage: Ist es möglich die Textelemente aus dem Elementebaum zu exportieren, sodass ich lediglich den reinen Dokumententext (auch alle unsichtbaren Bereiche) erhalte?

I have the same problem. If I create a new document with the same dimension with no artwork at all, I still have the same problem ... dimensions are out-of-range.

How to get past an answered quiz question?
I was testing whether my course was getting properly bookmarked by my LMS yesterday, and ran into the following problem:
I have a 5-question quiz, I answered questions 1 and 2, got feedback on question 2, and then closed my browser. When I restarted the course, the LMS did, in fact, bookmark where I stopped correctly, BUT I was now on an answered question with no way to go forward because I couldn't re-answer and re-submit.
While I don't anticipate a lot of students quitting the course 3 slides before the end, browsers and computers do crash, so some of them could find themselves in the same situation. So, what is the best way to allow the students to move forward when this happens?
I thought about adding the built-in "skip" button, but then I worry about what would happen if students click on it BEFORE they answer a question - then I'd also need to allow students to move backwards, which we really don't need otherwise and were hoping to avoid.
Our specs: 5 questions, MC/TF, infinite attempts, feedback provided before moving on.
Using Captivate 2019, latest version (after update).

This link is not very helpful, as they asked for Acrobat X, not DC.
The answer is they need to contact Adobe Customer Care (Contact Customer Care ) as Adobe recently removed access to the installers of previous versions from their website, and only the people on these support channels can provide it.

Re: Cannot execute script in target engine 'main'! (#1116) Can't start debug session.
I am using cc 2019 and had a similar issue.... I tried modifying the number mentioned here - no fix.
Then reverted to the initial number and restarted my computer, opened illustrator and ESTK and all seems normal now *phew*
Restarting seems to fix it... my issue was probably leaving my machine on for over a week (aka the time out session)
once I rebooted I believe my session restarted and thus enabled me to run my scripts from ESTK.
I would try this before trying to monkey around with system clock like others are mentioning above.

PP-2018 - CUDA not being used with GTX 750 Ti - Options?
This is my current system:
Premiere Pro 2018 (Version 12.1.2, Build 69) - I have avoided upgrading to PP2019 as I have read that 4GB CUDA memory is required.
NVIDIA Driver: 430.86
Graphic Card: GeForce GTX 750 Ti, 640 CUDA Cores, 2048 MB GDDR5 Memory
Source video material: 4k Video from a Panasonic FZ300 camera and 5.7K 360° video from a insta360 One X camera.
Computer: ASUS Prime X470 Pro with an AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Eight-Core CPU, 32GB DDR4 RAM
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit (up to date)
Use SanDisk SSD drives to speed up video rendering.
When I run Adobe Premiere Pro, the renderer is given as "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA)" and the same is true in Media Encoder 2018 (not in Media Encoder 2019).

The specifications for Premiere Pro 2018 for using CUDA is 2GB GPU memory which are available, yet the CUDA is not being used. In previous versions (CS5) of Premiere Pro, it was being used when I added the name of my card to that text file.
When I try to render a video, I only get software encoding, no CUDA.
I realize that the Graphic Card is the weakest link, but it does provide the 2GB CUDA required by PP2018, yet does not use it.
What am I doing wrong?
Would it be sufficient to upgrade to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 4GB GDDR5 in order for CUDA to be used?
I know that the smallest recommended card is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970, but I have read there are performance issues with that card. I am on a tight budget and need to get CUDA working again. Or what other low-budget graphic card will work to help speed up the rendering process for me?
I am often rendering 4K video and even 5.7K 360° VR video, so I realize that I need to upgrade my graphics card and 6GB CUDU memory would be better for that. So perhaps a GTX-1060 6GB or even a GTX-1070 Ti 8GB?
What should I do?

Re: Is there a hotkey to cycle between blending modes?
Doesn't work nearly as well as the shortcuts in Photoshop.
The problem seems to be:
* Shift-Tab is a shortcut for hiding the tools and panels
* The arrow key or Shift + arrow keys are also used for moving an object
* Shift and up/down arrow changes the Opacity
So you have to press the keys in exactly the right order. Since I only rarely change blending modes, I would spend much more time re-learning the order of key presses than if I just picked a blending mode!

Playback suddenly became slow?
Hello, I've recently noticed that my playback speed is becoming slower and slower.
I'm working with 720p 60 fps footage and for the past few years, the timeline was always yellow with my adjustments, except color grading.
Now just the slightest adjustment (basic transitions, zooming in, etc) will make the timeline red, it started a few days ago.
Here's an example, the only thing I did was zooming in the footage:

Indesign CC 2019 slows down as I zoom in

Im currently running the latest version of indesign cc 2019.
Here are my hardware specs:

The problem I am having is not something I find any solution for on google, additionally I had the same problem on an older MacBook (2012 model)
The problem is simple, basically the more I zoom into a layout the more indesign seems to slow down becoming entirely unusable when I'm zoomed into the maximum amount. This only seems to happen when I'm zooming into vector graphics, not copy, or bitmap, only vector so far. It is not a big deal but becomes very problematic when I'm trying align branding graphics accurately.
If anyone else has this problem or a solution I would greatly appreciate it as I cant find anything on it.

Yep, it does, without using any key. But, should we care?
I think so. It seems to indicate the modifier keys are not modifying the tool's behavior for you, but they are for me and Frans.
The difference could be your keyboard settings (the keyboard sensitivity or an OS key command that is interfering with InDesign?) or the timing of when you press the Command modifier key. With the Selection tool, the Command key modifier has to be applied before the frame is dragged for it to change the tool’s behavior to a transform—it can't be after or simultaneous with the drag.

Re: Disabling reset for custom Effect / reseting Effect params on layer copy
1. I don't think the "Reset" link can be disabled, it is not part of the plugin but of the host/AE functionality
2. When a layer is copied, internally the sequence data is flattened, then unflattened, so you could hook into the unflatten and reset your parameter there. This however causes problems with saving/loading, as then also the sequence data for your plugin gets flattened/unflattened for each instance.
I can't think of a quick solution here (except for maybe storing unique IDs somehow in the sequence data), sorry
